Connecting to my home network, can see other computers on my network but cannot access the internet.

Connecting to my home network, can see other computers on my network but cannot access the internet. Seems like the new computer sees the internet but the page isn't available....



Any ideas?

check your router config page, normally 192.168.1.1 and check for any port blocking or mac address filtering,



if there is a port block for the computer that cant access the internet then remove it or add the mac address to the routers table.



also check that your computer is getting the ip assigned automatically and not manually configured.

Try the following.



1) Clear your Cookies.

2) Clear your Temp Internet files.

3) Clear your Resolver Cache. Start%26gt; Run%26gt; cmd%26gt; ipconfig /FlushDNS

4) Release and renew you IP address. Start%26gt; Run%26gt; cmd%26gt; ipconfig /release Then restart your computer.

very simple!! rule is applied on your network it could be mac filter, ip filter,time restriction??there are many filter which is effecting yourcomputer so consult your network administrator
