I have a mac and so far, all the stuff I've downloaded I've been able to view. Just make sure that you have an application to view picture files, like preview, and UnRarX for unzipping files. These should have come with your Mac already and if they didn't then I think you should be able to download file viewing applications at the Apple website. UnRarX can be downloaded here:
