Have home network with 12 computers and game systems on a 8Mb cable connection. Is that enough speed

Most of the computers don't use a whole lot of the bandwith but between a couple xbox 360's and a few ps3's playing online I get a pretty slow connection sometimes. Should I upgrade to the 15Mb connection or not? I have tested the network before when hardly anyone was on and I got a 7.6Mb connection so I know we have a decent connection. The network is hooked up with a few switches but no hubs. All the connections are at 100Mb's. Some of the devices are on wireless but its wireless G. Thanks

Go to some place like http://www.speedtest.net/ and see what your speed to the locations of the servers you use is. Add the number of computers that will be using those servers and multiply. That (plus a little for email, web browsing, etc.) is the bandwidth you need. Since the internet (from your connection, through maybe a dozen or two routers, to the end point you're connected to) runs at a lot lower speed than your connection to your provider, you probably have more bandwidth than you can use now.
