When i am on two computers at once in my home, both slow down. How can i keep them the same speed?

Usually they are both very quick. i Have medicom cable and a netgear router with speed boost and extended ranger. It is top of the line.. but me network is spread way too thin.. how can i speed my computers up when both running.

Well if they do not have WIFI go get an network laptop adapter that will connect to your right router so that they now both have strong signals and i mean they are an top of the line router.
