Question about hooking up two computers with DSL?

Hello.I am going to finally get DSL in our house here but need to hook up two computers to this. What do I all need to hook the two together. The company said they supply the moden and the line but we are responsible for the rest.Do I need a router also and how do I go about hooking all this up?Trying to get away from their high charges for coming in and hooking this up outside of them just running the line. Thanks

You will need a cable/dsl router. That will be hooked up to your modem. So it goes Line%26gt;Modem%26gt;router%26gt;PC. Once that is installed, you need to buy a wireless router (or get a realllllly long ethernet cable) and install it on the other computer. I'd suggest a wireless router, since ethernet cables are expensive. Plus I would always end up tripping myself over the cable. :P

you can use a DSL router to connect two or more compters to your DSL, there are instructions in the manual when you perchase one
A very simple solution. Purchase two Ethernet Cards and a cross over cable. Get the cards installed in the machines and it would be ready for work. Download a free-ware proxy server (www.analogx.com) and install it on the machine where u have DSL working. Both the machines would be able to have internet working.
