How do you find My computers Network Address on Xp Windows?ducati
there are multiple ways. one way is to go to start%26gt;run%26gt; type cmd then enter and then type ipconfig this will show you your ip address among other things. you can also go start%26gt;all programs%26gt;accessories%26gt;communications%26gt;netw... connections, then right click on your connection and go to status and look under the support tab.

Actually it is very easy just go to Run in the start menu then type cmd. Once the black screen comes up(DOS Promt) then type ipconfig /all this will give you your IP Address of that computer.
BTW the address on the above post will work if your computer is straight on the internet but if you are on a network then no it want and you will have to do the ipconfig method.
Click Start then Run. Type in "cmd" and hit the Enter key. A black screen pops up. Type in "ipconfig" and read the results. This for a local IP address (home network) and not your IP address for the internet. Use the other guys answer for that.
Click on your start button. Then click on "run" in the box that opens type in "ipconfig"(without the quotes") and then press OK.
Go to your command prompt..Here type in this excatly
ipconfig /all
