How to set up xp computers for automatic shut down at a certain time without installing any software

i would like to set up all our computers on LAN for automatic shut down. can you give me the step by step procedure please.

How to set up xp computers for automatic shut down at a certain time without installing any softwares?antivirus protection

For a shortcut to SHUT DOWN Windows XP:

SHUTDOWN -s -f -t 00

Put "SHUTDOWN -s -f -t 00" into a text file, save it as SHUTDOWN.bat, and save it on the hardrive, and then set up a SCHEDULED TASK to run daily at a certain time to run SHUTDOWN.BAT. That will forcibly shutdown the machines.

No software to install, but you will have to copy the batch file to every machine, and i am not to sure if copying a scheduled task will work.

It is not possible without crashing the system. Windows did not add any schedule tasks to perform this action.

here is some software designed for such a task..
