So basically, does enabling DMZ on my home router (F5D7231-4), make it so that all computers except the dmz specified one will not have internet? Or will they all have internet and the dmz one just be more vulnerable.
I know my router supports this and about the security risks..
DMZ - Does it mean other computers will not have internet?anti virus scan
MDZ means an area that is demilitarized meaning no encryption or passwords required.
depending why you need this i wouldnt bother.
it would mean anyone within your wifi's signal can use your wireless and or could connect to your pc.

Its not what you have stated. You define DMZ in order to make a computer visible to external network. Which means if you want on of you computers over network to be available for people and browseable (FTP or HTTP) from outside your network, you'll define DMZ and put that computer in that. It has nothing to do with the usage of internet. Good Luck !!!!
DMZ will just open the computer to the internet. it will bypass the routers firewall and only use the computers.
