if u r not using computer above 2 computers then no need router..

simply connect cross crimping..ask to ur engineer about this.

then u can share easily share files .

or u are using Internet then switch is ned no router..

if ur ISP has given broadband like dial-up..then router is ned..

if without dial-up broadband.. then purchase Switch .. not HUb

As for sharing printers.. you're probably talking about PCs, but if by any chance you have Macs, you should be able to do it by opening System Preferences then clicking Print and Fax and choosing the ''Sharing'' tab, and changing your preferences from there.
